SpotRank ("we", "us") operates the SpotRank mobile app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

What we collect
- Account info: email and a username. With Apple/Google sign-in, we receive a unique identifier and (with consent) your name/email.
- Content you create: photos, captions, neighborhood labels, ratings, reactions, comments, and reports.
- Approximate location only: a neighborhood/city label you choose. We do not collect or store precise GPS coordinates.
- Purchase status: whether you bought a boost or Pro (processed by Apple/Google & RevenueCat — we never see card details).
- Basic technical/diagnostic data needed to run the service.
How we use it
- To provide posting, rating, ranking, leaderboards, battles, and sharing.
- To compute scores and rankings on our servers.
- To enforce safety (review reports; hide/remove rule-breaking content).
- To process purchases and unlock features.
- To communicate about your account or important changes.
We do not sell your personal data.
Photos & public content
Posts are public and labeled by neighborhood. Do not upload images showing readable license plates or identifiable faces — the app requires you to redact them before posting. We may remove content or accounts that break the rules.
Service providers
- Supabase — database, authentication, file storage, serverless functions.
- RevenueCat + Apple App Store / Google Play — purchase processing and entitlements.
Your rights & choices
- Access / correction: view and edit your profile in the app.
- Delete your account & data: Settings → Delete account removes your account, posts, ratings, and photos.
- Depending on where you live (e.g. GDPR / CCPA), you may have additional rights — contact us to exercise them.
Data retention
We keep your content while your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and content are deleted (backups purge on our provider's normal cycle).
Children
SpotRank is not directed to children under 13 (or your country's minimum age). We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy; we'll change the date above and, for material changes, notify you in-app.
